This is an independent product and not from the National Hurricane Center
Currently, the center of Tropical Depression 8 is located near 13.6N and 113.4W. This places the center more than 3,000 miles east of Hawaii. The motion is to the west near 14 m.p.h. This track is expected to continue during the next few days, bringing the system possibly into the central Pacific very late next week.
Maximum winds are near 35 m.p.h. The pressure is estimated to be 1008mb. Slow development is expected voer the enxt few days and this system could become a tropical storm later today.

8 P.M. PDT 8/9/2003 TROPICAL STORM HILDA UPDATE #2
This is an independent product and not from the National Hurricane Center
Currently, the center of newly formed Tropical Storm Hilda is located near 14.9N and 114.6W. This places the center more than 3,000 miles east of Hawaii. The motion is to the WNW near 14 m.p.h. This track is expected to continue and then shift more westerly as a ridge from the north prevents its northward path during the next few days, bringing the system possibly into the central Pacific very late next week.
Maximum winds are near 45 m.p.h. Slow development is expected over the next few days and this system could become a hurricane within 48 hours.

8 A.M. PDT 8/10/2003 TROPICAL STORM HILDA UPDATE #3
This is an independent product and not from the National Hurricane Center
Currently, the center of Tropical Storm Hilda is located near 15.2N and 117.7W. This places the center about 2500 miles east of Hawaii. The motion is to the WNW near 15 m.p.h. Thgis track is expected to continue, with a possible turn back to the west over the enxt few days. This system has the potential to mvoe into the central Pacific late this week, if it does not mvoe too far north and over cold water.
Maximum winds are near 45 m.p.h. The pressure is estimated to be near 1003mb. Little change in intensity is expected with Hilda over the next few days due to marginal atmospheric conditions.

Currently, the center of Tropical Storm Hilda is located near 17.0N and 119.7W. This places the center about 2200 miles east of Hawaii. The motion is to the WNW near 15 m.p.h. Thgis track is expected to continue, with a possible turn back to the west over the enxt few days. This system has the potential to move into the central Pacific late this week, if it does not move too far north and over cold water.
Maximum winds are near 45 m.p.h. The pressure is estimated to be near 1003mb. Little change in intensity is expected with Hilda over the next few days due to marginal atmospheric conditions.

This is an independent product and not from the National Hurricane Center
Currently, the center of Tropical Storm Hilda is located near 18.2N and 122.0W. This places the center about 2000 miles east of Hawaii. The motion is to the WNW near 15 m.p.h. A westerly track is expected to continue until dissipation.
Maximum winds remain near 45 m.p.h. The pressure is estimated to be 1004mb. Weakening is expected as the cyclone will soon begin to move over cooler waters.

Currently, the center of Tropical Depression Hilda is located near 18.6N and 127.9W. This places the center well into the open Pacific Ocean. The motion is to the WNW near 12 m.p.h. this track is expected to conitnue until dissipation.
Maximum winds are near 35 m.p.h. The pressure is estimated to be 1010mb. Continued weakening is expected and Hilda should be a remnant low within the next day or so.

Maximum winds have decreased to near 30 m.p.h. The pressure is estimated to be 1012mb. Continued weakening is expected and Hilda should be a remnent low later today.
