At 11 p.m., the center of Tropical Depression 2 was located near 9.6N and 41.6W. This places the center about 1200 miles east of the lesser Antilles. The motion is to the west near 16 m.p.h. This track should continue during the next few days.

Maximum winds are near 35 m.p.h. The pressure is estimated to be 1007mb. Slight additional intensification is possible and this system could become a tropical storm within the next 24 hours.

11 A.M. ADT 6/11/2003 TROPICAL DEPRESSION 2 UPDATE#2

Residents of the Lesser Antilles should continue to monitor the progress of this tropical depression.

Currently, the center of Tropical Depression 2 is located near 10.1N and 44.5W. This places the center about 1000 miles east of the Lesser Antilles. The motion is to the west near 18 m.p.h. This track should continue over the next few days, bringing the system near the Lesser Antilles in about 3 and a half days.

Maximum winds remain near 35 m.p.h. The pressure is estimated to be 1007mb. Slight additional intensification is possible and this system could become a tropical storm within the next 24 hours.

Currently, the center of Tropical Depression 2 is located near 10.1N and 46.2W. This places the center about 950 miles to the east of the Lesser Antilles. The motion is to the west near 14 m.p.h. This track should continue over the next few days.

Maximum winds remain near 35 m.p.h. The pressure is estimated to be 1009mb. Little change in intensity is expected, though there is a possibility of dissipation within the next 36 hours.

11 P.M. ADT 6/11/2003 TROPICAL DEPRESSION 2 UPDATE #4

Currently, the position of Tropical Depression 2 is located near 10.1N and 47.4W. There appears to be no closed circulation indicating continued weakening of the tropical depression. The motion is to the west near 15 m.p.h. This track should continue over the next few days.

Maximum winds remain near 35 m.p.h., mostly in the bands of convection. The pressure is estimated to be 1010mb. Little change in intensity is expected, though there is a fair possibility of dissipation within the next 36 hours.

5 A.M. ADT 6/12/2003 TROPICAL DEPRESSION 2 UPDATE #5

This is an independent product and not from the National Hurricane Center

Satellite imagery indicates that Tropical Depression 2 no longer has a closed surface circulation; therefore, it is being declared to have dissipated. The system is going to be monitored for redevelopment and a recon aircraft may investigate tomorrow, if necessary.

This is the final update that will be issued on the system.
