Tropical Storm Mindy forms near the NE tip of the Dominican Republic and is moving toward the SE Bahamas.
NWHHC now recommends a Tropical Storm Warning for the Turks and Caicos Islands. Please refer to local emergency management officials for the official watches and warnings.
Currently, the center of Tropical Storm Mindy is located near 19.9N and 69.4W. This places the center about 210 miles to the SE of the Turks and Caicos Islands. The motion is to the NW near 13 m.p.h. and a turn more to the north is expected over the next day or so.
Maximum winds are near 40 m.p.h. The pressure is 1002mb. satellite imagery indicates that Mindy continues to intensify and further intensification is expected during the next 24 hours.

Tropical Storm Mindy is bearing down on the Turks and Caicos Islands. expected time of arrival is tomorrow morning. Storm preparations that are advised by local emergency management officials should be completed as soon as possible. Heavy rainfall and flooding are the rgeatest threats as up to 5-10 inches of rain may fall.
Residents of Bermuda should also monitor the progress of Mindy.

Currently, the center of Tropical Storm Mindy is located near 20.5N and 69.9W. This places the center about 125 miles SE of Grand Turk Island. The motion is to the NW near 13 m.p.h. A turn to the north is expected within the next 24 hours, but this may not occur soon enough to allow Mindy to pass to the east of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Maximum winds have increased to near 45 m.p.h. The pressure is estimated to be 1002mb. Some slow intensification is expected during the next day or so; however, Mindy is not currently expected to become a hurricane.

Tropical Storm Mindy is passing to the east of the Turks and Caicos Islands, keeping the worst of the weather to the east of the region.
Residents of Bermuda need to closely monitor the progress of Mindy.

Currently, the center of Tropical Storm Mindy is located near 22.0N and 70.6W. This places the center about 55 miles NNE of Grand Turk Island. The motion is to the NNW near 13 m.p.h. and a NE turn is expected, bringing the system close to Bermuda over the next few days.
Maximum winds remain near 45 m.p.h. The pressure is estimated to be 1002mb. Some further increase in intensity is expected over the next day or so, though Mindy is not expected to become a hurricane.

Tropical Storm Mindy has cleared the Turks and Caicos Islands, bringing little adverse conditions to the area.
Residents of Bermuda need to closely monitor the progress of Mindy.
Currently, the center of Tropical Storm Mindy is located near 22.2N and 71.6W. This places the center about 60 miles NNW of Grand Turk Island. The motion is to the NNW near 14 m.p.h. and a NE turn is expected, bringing the system close to Bermuda over the next few days.
Maximum winds have decreased to near 40 m.p.h. The pressure is estimated to be 1002mb. Little change in intensiyt is expected during the next couple of days.

Tropical Storm Mindy continues to move away from the Bahamas with little change in intensity. Residents of Bermuda should continue to closely monitor the progress of Mindy.
Currently, the center of Tropical Storm Mindy is located near 23.4N and 71.3W. This places the center about 150 miles north of Grand Turk Island. The motion is to the north near 14 m.p.h. A turn more to the NE is expected during the next day or so, bringing the system close to Bermuda in about 36-48 hours.
Maximum winds remain near 40 m.p.h. The pressure is estimated to be 1008mb. Little change in intensity is expected during the next couple of days. After this time, Mindy is expected to become extra-tropical.

Currently, the center of Tropical Depression Mindy is located near 25.8N and 71.9W. This places the center about 330 miles north of Grand Turk Island. The motion is to the NNE near 10 m.p.h. A turn more to the NE is expected during the next day or so, bringing whatever is left of the system close to Bermuda in about 36-48 hours.
Maximum winds have decreased to near 30 m.p.h. The pressure is estimated to be 1008mb. Continued weakening is expected and Mindy could dissipate within the next day or so.
